Thermal Imaging Monitoring System for Battery Warehouse

Lithium batteries have the characteristics of long application cycle, small pollution, small size and high capacity. Their demand is increasing, application fields are expanding, and safety problems are gradually enlarging. In recent years, there have been many explosions and fires in lithium battery factories, so it is urgent to solve the safe production of lithium batteries. The new energy battery factory needs to monitor the temperature of all batteries in the warehouse.When the positive and negative poles of batteries are short-circuited, the temperature of batteries will rise. The temperature alarm value is set in advance by infrared monitoring software. When the temperature reaches the set value, an alarm will be issued to remind the staff to take measures to avoid the accident of battery combustion and explosion. How to achieve that? Two different installation modes are available for different warehouse layout patterns:

1. Fixed installation: Installed on the wall of the warehouse. To ensure accurate detection of temperature anomalies, the thermal camera needs to be installed a little closer to the battery pack, about 5-10 meters.

2. Track mounting: Mounted on both sides of the batteries stacker to monitor the batteries carried when the stacker moves them

 

System Characteristics

By using the monitoring system of lithium battery warehouse, the temperature of the batteries can be monitored in real time, so as to ensure the safety of production, at the same time, unattended operation can be achieved and the work efficiency can be improved. The system features as follows:

Improve efficiency: The system has a high degree of automation, with the functions of automatic patrol inspection of thermal camera, intelligent alarm, automatic storage of alarm pictures, automatic report generation, etc. It can reduce the number of patrols by personnel and improve their work efficiency.
