System introduction: 1. Torpedo Tank

Torpedo tank standard railway transport mode torpedo tank has the characteristics of large capacity, good thermal insulation performance, low center of gravity and high safety. It can be used as the buffer link between iron and steel interface and plays the role of connecting, matching, coordinating and buffering for iron and steel making. It is widely used in large iron and steel enterprises. 2. Project Requirements

During the use of torpedo tank, the refractory lining may be damaged due to the following reasons:

1) When holding molten iron, the lining of firebrick is impacted by high temperature molten steel, resulting in erosion, wear and strong thermal shock, resulting in great thermal stress;

2) The firebrick is chemically eroded by molten iron and slag and oxidized by air during holding and pouring of molten iron;

3) The sharp drop of molten iron empting temperature causes the refractory lining to generate thermal stress due to rapid cooling. In order to ensure the safety and efficiency of production, it is necessary to find the potential threat of torpedo tank wall damage in time. The torpedo tank truck of No.2 blast furnace in a Group iron works has been used for a long time, and the tank wall may be damaged. It is hoped that the surface temperature of the tank wall can be measured to find the potential hidden trouble in time.

3. Site Investigation

After on-the-spot investigation, it was found that the torpedo tank was about 20m long and 5m high, and the torpedo tank would pass the railway track at a slow speed. Infrared thermal camera could be installed on both sides of the railway to measure the temperature of the torpedo tank. By setting high temperature warning value, the staff could be reminded of the hidden danger of the torpedo tank. The normal surface temperature of torpedo tank is about 300℃, and the position of infrared thermal imager installed on both sides is about 10m away from the torpedo tank.

4.Infrared thermal imager can measure the temperature of every point in the field of view by non-contact temperature measurement. By local high temperature monitoring, it can identify the parts where the torpedo tank refractory falls off and the tank wall becomes thinner, so that effective safety measures can be taken in time.

1)Temperature measurement within the full field of view: Display the infrared thermal image within the monitoring range of the screen in real time. When the torpedo tank enters the field of view, trigger the recording, and save the recorded file locally for later viewing. It not only records valid information, but also saves storage space. 2)Setting of High Temperature Alarm: By setting the alarm temperature reasonably, when the surface temperature of the tank wall is higher than this value, the prompt sound will be output through the alarm and the current thermal image will be intercepted. Check and confirm with staff in advance, and take effective measures in time. Infrared thermal camera development software can be set for high temperature warning

3)Analysis of Local Temperature Measurement Objects: The temperature measurement object can be added to the screen at will, and the temperature change of key areas can be analyzed by adding temperature measurement objects of different shapes, and the characteristic temperature in the temperature measurement box can be obtained. 4) High Temperature Tracking: Since the torpedo tank is mobile, the function of high temperature tracking is used. The infrared thermograph software can continuously track the position of high temperature points within the field of view and mark them for easy search. 5) Temperature Curve Record: Display the characteristic temperature curve within the market and the temperature measuring frame in real time, and directly reflect the temperature change.
