1. Why should the brake pad be tested for temperature?

There are three existing means of temperature measurement:

1) Contact thermocouple

2) Infrared point thermometer

The infrared point-temperature instrument has fast reaction speed and adopts non-contact temperature measurement, but the infrared point-temperature instrument cannot display the temperature distribution of the whole brake pad.

3) Infrared thermal camera

The infrared thermal camera makes up the deficiency of contact thermocouple and infrared point thermometer. It is easy to operate and has fast reaction speed. It adopts non-contact temperature measurement and can display the temperature distribution of the whole brake pad.
